Tropical Reef Shipyard (TRS) was proud to be both a sponsor and presenter at the the recent Queensland Safety Symposium event in Cairns. The Queensland Safety Symposium came to Cairns this month, with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety (AIHS) – Queensland Branch, bringing together safety professionals and industry leaders from across the region.
HSSET/QA Manager Tim Fitch shared TRS’s ongoing journey of learning, discovery, and improvement — highlighting how the team continues to build a stronger, safer workplace through practical Human and Organisational Performance (HOP) principles.
“It was an honour to present and showcase the great work happening here at TRS,” said Tim. “It’s fantastic to see AIHS supporting regional centres like Cairns — it brings our local safety community together.”
