Tropical Reef Shipyard is in the Cairns Marine Precinct providing services to ships in the waters of Far North QLD and the Coral Sea. Our partner network supports Australia’s strategic Defence and foreign policy initiatives, as well as border and fisheries, paramilitary, tourism and maritime trade operations.

Cairns is the home of the first of the Navy’s new Regional Maintenance Centres (RMC). Tropical Reef Shipyard are proud to be a Joint Venture partner of NORSTA the RMC Program Management Partner. Our shipyard will play a major part in Naval sustainment delivery. We recognise our long-term and deep relationships with many local suppliers was a key to our success in this bid.
